This is the second Healer we’ve built for our good buddy Pete. We matched the neck shape, overall specs, hardware and aesthetics of his first healer to this one. The body and neck are made with reclaimed Honduras Mahogany, that lived its former life as bleachers in the old Greenfield High School. The Brazilian rosewood fretboard and headcap match his other guitar too. We chambered the mahogany for tone and weight reduction and the guitar is about 6 3/4 lbs. The scale length is 25.5″ and nut width 1.625″. The pickups are wide range mini-humbuckers made by Lindy Fralin. Wraparound bridge is by Mojoaxe and knobs by Retro-Spec. The finish is nitro and pickguard acrylic. Not much more to say other than it’s a tone machine and we’re so psyched it’s home with Pete.
