A redwood topped Healer for Kevin W. who had most of this awesomeness spec’d out exactly as you see it here when he placed his order. The top was going to have a burst but once we saw this darker stain with a masked natural edge we knew this was the way to go. Kevin brought in some elm burl from his family’s property which we used for the headcap, then stained to match the top and fretboard. A black stinger on the back of the headstock brings up the contrast to the natural, un-tinted flame maple neck. The body wood is torrefied pine from @temperedtonewoods , fast becoming our favorite wood to work with. Fully chambered interior makes this one 7lbs even with all the hardware. @masterybridge and vibrato, @lollarpickups firebird neck and bridge with open top tele neck pickup in the middle position. @g_gotoh510 staggered safe-t post tuners. Bakelite pickguard wired where the middle pickup has its own independed volume knob. Otherwise a standard Jazzmaster wiring with full neck circuit and master tone. 1 5/8” nut, 25 1/2” scale length, Madagascar fretboard with bone dots. I think that’s it?
