Wrapped up a wild one on Thursday and handed off to Caleb Green today. Caleb and his dad have been clients for years and having a Healer is his quiver is really special to us both. We went over lots of “could you do….?” with this Healer. And we did do quite a few, like the carved heel for higher fret access, offset fretboard dots with aluminum tubing, and an anodized aluminum guard. The ivoroid binding on the headstock is probably my favorite feature of the bunch. Thanks Caleb!—————— Specs: JBE dual blade pickups with short mini toggles for series/split/parallel wiring and a Tesi Switch kill switch. Volume, Treble Roll off, Bass Roll off wiring on the pots, like G&L does, which offer up some amazing tones, from wah to strat-like. Sassafrass body wood with Thermal Blue top color wrapped over the edge radius. Roasted Birdseye maple courtesy of Hades Roasted Maple with Macassar ebony fretboard and head cap from Hibdon Hardwood, Gotoh Bridge and locking tuners. I also painted the interior of the tremolo route with the same color as the top for contrast with the natural back. 25 1/2” scale, Jescar Music stainless steel wire, 10-16” compound radius, 1 11/16” nut width, 7.5lbs (non-chambered).
