We finished this Baritone Healer for @dtshreds one year ago today. I took photos of the last four instruments we made in Suite 059 soon after this and will share those over the next couple of days leading up to Open Studios this weekend @eastworks_community
Dan has graciously lent us this one to show off in the shop so please come by and give it a strum on November 2nd and 3rd from 10-5.
Dan picked the top color to match a really cool vintage alarm clock he’s had for years. The body and neck are mahogany finished with satin waterbase varnish and bound with ivoroid. The fretboard and headcap are Macassar ebony. We deliberated for weeks over a pickguard material and I think he made a fantastic choice with this wild pink nebula swirl.
The scale length is 28” for B-b tuning. The Firebird pickups were made by Ohad @barbibayguitars and the wiring is Volume, Tone, and 3 way blade switch, nice and easy.
Tuners are locking SD91 Gotoh and bridge and vibrato are by @masterybridge
