In late 2010, I moved back to the East Coast after living in the Bay Area of California for 4.5 years. My goal was to set up my own shop for building and repairing all manners of fretted instruments. I searched for a shop space for several months and finally found one in Easthampton, MA, in a building called Eastworks.
Below is a series of photos of the new shop after working on sprucing up the place. After several weeks, and many trips to Home Depot, I am happy to report that I am finally at the stage of getting to work on some instruments.
I will be posting more in the future, keeping folks up to date on the progress of the shop, customer’s guitars and repair projects. Thanks for stopping by.

Getting organized

Here's the machine room where all the dust gets made.

The shop looks wonderful!
Trevor,
Best of luck to you in your new business.
Nice ONE! Great Shop! Congrats on your return to the East Coast too!
I’ll have to come downstairs and check out the space – my acoustic is in need of a tune up real soon, too
